Glenn Domigan

One of the familiar faces at Victoria Park, Glenn has a very calm and laid-back attitude to coaching on the surface but underneath he has become one of the most qualified and industry certified professionals in Queensland. With over 10 years of experience at Victoria Park as a PGA golf professional and coach, Glenn delivers a high quality coaching experience while ensuring his students have a great time.

His continuing quest for education has seen Glenn become certified in Trackman, SAM PuttLab, Golf BioDynamics and TPI. In the last year alone Glenn had the opportunity to spend time learning from many of the leading figures in the modern game such as Dr Christian Marquart, Dr Rob Neal, Dr Sacho MacKenzie, Cameron McCormick, Denis McDade and Dave Andrews.

Glenn is an experienced custom club fitter at Victoria Park and is qualified to fit all the major brands. Glenn can not only help improve your technique but also make sure you have the correct equipment for your swing. He currently coaches both the Excellence and Development Programs at the Kelvin Grove Golf School of Excellence.

Murray Lott

Murray Lott is an experienced professional golfer with significant standing in the golfing community both in Australia and overseas. He is recognised for his outstanding competitive achievements and the highest standards of professionalism in coaching and lecturing.

In addition to his own golfing accomplishments, Murray has been involved with some of the biggest names in tournament golf including six-time major winner, Sir Nick Faldo.  Murray boasts considerable coaching success and has led a number of elite tournament professionals to championship success.

Murray has an extensive golfing pedigree, having benefitted from some of the world’s prominent coaches such as Mac O’Grady, Dave Pelz, Denis Pugh, Charles Earp, Alex Mercer, Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott.

Murray has worked at some of Australia’s leading golfing and sporting establishments which include the Royal Queensland Golf Club, Brisbane Golf Club, The Royal Sydney Golf Club and Byneset Golf Club in Trondheim, Norway. He currently lectures as a Lead Presenter for the PGA of Australia/China Golf Association in mainland China.

Murray Lott offers a range of services to meet the diverse needs of golfers with everything from one-on-one private tutelage, half and full day schools and expansive corporate golfing events.

The key to Murray’s success, is his philosophy of working with clients for the long term to establish trust, and educating clients to develop their own understanding of how, why and what they do works or doesn’t work.  It is through ongoing learning and education that Murray’s clients have come to value and has seen many a golfer go from ‘timid’ beginner to competent golfer with a strong sense of accomplishment and confidence in their game.

Eric Moon

Eric is an experienced tour pro having played on the Australasian tour, tournament in Korea and Sunshine Pro-Am swing. As he turns his attention to coaching, you can be sure that your game will improve with Eric’s advice.

Eric trained with the PGA IGI, receiving a Bachelor of Business (Sports Management) from Griffith University during his training and is currently a full member of the PGA of Australia (Advanced). He is Trackman Certified; Professional Level 2 and has an in-depth knowledge of Trackman technology, swing and ball flight analysis. Eric is also certified in K-Vest technology.

As a great asset to the team, Eric speaks fluent English and Korean. His passion lies in helping those who struggle to get enough distance out of their shots, with his coaching focused on improving body movement.

Chris Chaplin

Chris joins the Victoria Park coaching team with an impressive career in tail, most recently as a teaching professional at Royal Queensland Golf Club where Chris originally completed his PGA trainee-ship under Charlie Earp. Chris has previously held the position of Head Teaching Professional at Aspley Pin High Golf Complex and Nudgee Golf Club, was appointed as Head Coach for the National Golf Institute and Nudgee College International Golf Program, and has also coached at Royal Hobart Golf Club and Keperra Golf Club.

Chris’s teaching philosophy is to coach the individual not the method and maximise improvement with simple advice based on proven orthodox fundamentals. Having coached national team players from Japan, Korea and Hong Kong it is clear that Chris’s coaching technique will help see your golf game improve regardless of your level of golf ability. Chris has experience coaching tour players including Scott Hend who has been coached by Chris from when he was a trainee right through to the US PGA tour.

Also dedicated to helping others with their professional development, Chris has experience as a key note present at Hong Kong PGA coaching conferences, lecturing at the University of New England and has even opened a golf academy in China.

Chris specialises in short game development and is a specialist Wilson custom club fitter.

Darren Weatherall

Darren Weatherall’s expertise, easy to apply methods and friendly approach to coaching have seen him become one of Australia’s most in demand coaches.

His versatile teaching methods have proven results in the achievements of a variety of golfers, from beginners all the way to his touring professionals. Darren uses the latest technology Trackman, GASP, Force Plates then adapts his teaching based on each student depending on their time and goals in golf. He keeps it simple, has great communication skills and understands the many facets of golf coaching with a natural ability to bring out the best in his students.

Due to his undeniable passion for coaching, he was listed as a finalist for the QLD PGA Teaching Professional of the year 2015 & 2017. Darren has also written multiple articles for Australia’s #1 Golf Publication ‘Inside Golf’.

Chris Rutherford

Chris Rutherford is a highly qualified and knowledgeable golf coach, bringing 30 years of experience to the Victoria Park coaching team.

Chris joined the Victoria Park team after holding the position of Head Professional at Royal Queensland Golf Club for 13 years and is now totally focused on growing the game through his coaching and club fitting. Chris’s dedication to the game and game improvement has always been his passion and this is seen through his involvement within the industry in positions such as the former coach for the Women’s Golf Queensland Futures Program, coach of the Kelvin Grove State College Golf Excellence Program, Chairman of the QLD PGA, Chairman of The Australian PGA National Tournament Committee and Board Member of the Australian PGA and Board Member of Performance Golf.

Chris is also a Titleist Advanced Fitting Professional (one of only six in Australia).

As a certified member of the Australian PGA, Advanced in Coaching, Chris has had extensive experience in golf coaching, club fitting and also playing on tour nationally and Internationally earlier in his career. Chris has a particular interest in short game development and wedge fitting. Having spent time with legendary wedge designer Bob Vokey Chris is well positioned to help you in this area. Chris has the desire to see people capitalise on their potential and develop as a player which only reassures his students that they are in the best coaching hands possible.

Chris believes that there are basic fundamentals that need to be met by all golfers, and that those fundamentals are the framework for the individual’s swing. Individual’s needs and goals, along with their physical and mental capabilities, need to be taken into consideration before a plan can be made. “Simple things done often” – is the philosophy I use to help people build their golf games with strong foundations tailored to an individual’s own style.

After the past 8 years as the Golf Programs Manager at the PGA IGI and the 15 years as the Head Golf Professional at Burleigh Golf Club (10 years) and Inverell Golf Club (5 years) – I have developed a successful game development approach through the ability to deliver golf information in simple and clear terms, and taking the role as a “partner “in your continual improvement.  My aim is to make you a better golfer not just have a better swing providing a holistic approach to improve your game at every stage of your  golf development.

Golf can be challenging and frustrating but it can also be exhilarating and rewarding.  It’s the challenge which makes the sense of accomplishment so rewarding.  Whether you are just starting out or have been playing for years – I believe there is a swing and style of play which gives you your best chance to play your best golf.
