Bistro Reservations Manager
Victoria Park Bistro invites you to join the fun and excitement of our family friendly upbeat Bistro and play a vital front line role in exceeding our guests expectations as our Bistro Reservations Officer.
You must be a dynamic, enthusiastic individual with previous experience in high volume office administration. Restaurant reservations management experience is desirable but not essential. You will demonstrate your passion for delivery of exceptional customer service when answering all telephone and online customer enquiries and processing Bistro reservations. Collaboration with key Bistro Kitchen and Front of House Service delivery team members will be essential to the success of this role.
The successful candidate will have:
- Superior communication skills
- Efficient administrative and organisational skills
- Exceptional eye for detail
- Proven capability to problem solve and be solutions focused
- Extremely well presented with a smile at all times
- Knowledge/familiarisation of restaurant reservation systems (preferably Seven Rooms or similar)
Bistro Assistant Manager

With a seasonal menu, guests enjoy beautiful flavours for breakfast, lunch and dinner across 7 days.
As a passionate hospitality professional with supervisory experience in a high volume food and beverage service environment, you will collaborate with a close-knit team of hospitality experts and confidently lead and inspire our front of house team to exceed guest expectations. Our team values employment stability and team spirited action.
Reporting to the Bistro Manager, you’ll know you’re right for the role if you have all of the above and more:
- Substantial (2+ years) Senior supervisory experience in a comparable high volume restaurant business
- Experience managing a team of up to 35 staff including permanent supervisors
- Superior customer service skills
- Excellent leadership capability inclusive of the natural ability to effectively communicate, motivate and organise
- Hands on management and training style
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge
- Accept responsibility and accountability for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of allocated shifts and overall presentation of the outlet
- Monitor restaurant bookings throughout service to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests
- Competently operate POS system and handle and reconcile cash
- Be reliably available for a variety of shifts within Bistro operating hours, across 7 days, especially weekends
- Accredited knowledge of RMLV, RSA and industry regulations
- Knowledge of Point of Sale systems
- A ‘can do’ attitude and able to problem solve on your feet in a positive manner
- High attention to detail
Restaurant Supervisor – Permanent

- Have sound team leadership experience
- Display a calm, productive, proactive approach in our fast paced environment
- Be reliably available for a variety of shifts within Bistro operating hours, across 7 days, especially weekends
- Have professional grooming and presentation
