The Victoria Park Vision: Brisbane’s biggest park in 50 years
Brisbane City Council recently announced that the Golf Course at Victoria Park will close in 2021, to make way for the biggest park Brisbane has seen in 50 years.
We can confirm that only the Golf Course is closing in 2021.
Victoria Park’s Driving Range, Putt Putt, eight Function Venues and Bistro will not be closing.
Our Directors have been working with Brisbane City Council since 1999 to operate the Victoria Park facilities and are committed to further developing the destination for years to come.
From January 2021, works will start to transform the Victoria Park Golf Course into public parkland. Given the community’s enduring enthusiasm for the putt putt course, golf driving range, event venues and bistro facilities, it is wonderful to know that these facilities will not be effected by the Brisbane City Council’s parkland development.
